Join bestselling crime author, Clare Donoghue and the Taunton Thespians at the Brewhouse Theatre for a thrilling evening of death, detective work and drinks and nibbles.
The Brewhouse Bards are making their final preparations for their Halloween performance of Bram Stoker’s Dracula. With only a handful of main parts and stage time to fight for, competition is fierce. On the night of the dress rehearsal, a selective few members of the public have been invited to the performance. However, as with all dress rehearsals they’ve been told to expect delays, interruptions and the occasional missed line, and entrance. What they didn’t expect was murder.
Can our audience, turned detectives, solve the murder before the killer strikes again?
Detectives will be put into teams of 6 to solve the murder and there will be special prizes for the top three teams.

Join us this November for one of the most terrifying supernatural thrillers of all time. A truly evil old mansion has remained empty and silent for years until the arrival of Dr Montague, an investigator of supernatural phenomena. He and his team delve into it’s disturbing history. Goaded into a fatal fury, the spirits of the house make themselves known.

This is a genuinely unsettling piece with a great range of characters. The set will be a technical challenge as well. Please do come along as we will need people to be involved off stage as well as actors themselves.
